The Bronx based vocal group that enjoyed a string of hits with lead singer Dion DiMucci, The Belmonts carried on as a trio And also had a few more successes with Carlo Mastrangelo (who also sang lead on “Tell Me Why”) as manager when the group recorded on the Sabrina label.
The Belmonts had a few reunions with Dion in 1967 and 1972.
The Belmonts also hit the charts again in 1981 when they joined with Freddie “Boom Boom” Cannon on the hit “Lets Put The Fun Back In Rock and Roll”. The Belmonts also had a outing in Japan in 1998 and were invited back for an encore performance.
A great addition to any package or as a stand alone act..
